The Best Christmas Games to Play With Your Whole Family This Year
There's plenty of Christmas themed games that you can play with the whole family this Christmas season. In a way, there are almost TOO many. However, I've picked my personal favorite holiday games that anyone can play and have fun with! Here are my top three favorite themed games to play this holiday season!
Christmas Movie Trivia
One of my favorite things about the holidays is the great number of amazing Christmas movies you can watch over and over, year after year! Almost everyone has seen these movies I'm referring to, so why not make a trivia quiz! Make up some trivia questions that relate to the many classic Christmas movies. They can be questions about actors, plot, famous quotes, or anything else you can think of. Have everyone answer this quiz and whoever answers the most correctly wins! You can also search the internet for "Christmas Movie Quiz" if you aren't in the mood to make one yourself!
The Stocking Guessing Game
This one is a real blast and very easy to play. The host will put random items into a Christmas stocking. They will then tie the top so no one can peek inside. The stocking will then get passed around to each person so that everyone can try to feel and guess what's inside the stocking. Everyone will write down what they think is inside the stocking on paper, and whoever identifies the most items correctly wins! It's a simple yet very fun game!
Oven Mitt Unwrap Christmas Game
This game can get a little competitive... in a good way! The setup required for this one is as follows. The host will wrap an item in LOTS of layers of wrapping paper. The item can be anything, but just be sure it is a pretty good prize. Next, all participants will sit in a circle. Starting with one person, they will wear oven mitts while trying to unwrap the present for 20 seconds. Then after their 20 seconds are up, the oven mitts and wrapped present will go to the next person in the circle and then they will try the same. These mitts and present will make their way around the circle as many times as it takes until someone completely unwraps the gift. They are then the winner, and thus get to keep the gift!

There are so many great Christmas games that it's hard to pick just three, but these are three fantastic ones! I would recommend getting small gifts for each person who wins the games! To keep the fun going longer you can play multiple rounds of each game. Everyone in the family and all ages can play these games together and they will love them. They're the perfect way to create some great Christmas memories.
